HISTORY:

30ish old female with abdominal epigastric pain.

EGD identified a normal-appearing gastric mucosa with extensive food contents within the pylorus.

What is the diagnosis?

  1. Infection/colonization with Micrococcus spp.
  2. Focal sloughing-dysplasia of gastric epithelium
  3. Infection/colonization with Sarcina spp.
  4. Superficial fungal infection
  5. Chronic active gastritis with Helicobacter spp.
