HISTORY:

The patient is a female in her 30’s with a PMH of an enlarged lymph node of the left groin and a concurrent perirectal mass measuring 3.2 cm.

An FNA and subsequent biopsy of the rectal mass was performed.

What is the diagnosis?

  1. Squamous cell carcinoma with basaloid features
  2. Small cell carcinoma
  3. Malignant fibrous histiocytoma
  4. Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma
