HISTORY:
A female in her 50’s with history of mild asthma, hypertension, diabetes, Bell’s palsy presented to the clinic with a right tongue mass on the posterolateral surface. Patient observed the sore in mirror and her PCP treated the lesion with antifungal without any improvement.
Patient was referred to head and neck surgical oncology.
A partial glossectomy was performed since the lesion was present at high risk site.
