HISTORY:

A 57 year old male presented to the head and neck surgical oncology clinic with a lesion on left ventral tongue. The lesion was first noted by his dentist. The lesion presented as a 8 mm firm nodule on ventral surface of the tongue. Patient denied pain in the lesion, dysphagia, voice change or weight loss. An excisional biopsy was performed.
