HISTORY:

62 years oldĀ femaleĀ Patient admitted who was for chest pain and food poisoning. During work-up, CT A/P obtained showing 4.3x 3.8 cm left renal mass and adrenal incidentaloma.

The renal biopsy revealed a renal cell carcinoma and patient underwent left partial nephrectomy.

GROSS:

5.0 x 4.8 x 3.9 cm tan-white, pink-red, firm, bulging, centrally hemorrhagic and necrotic, and well demarcated mass that is predominantly well circumscribed with focal areas of possible extension into the surrounding parenchyma.
