HISTORY:

59 year-old male with history of diabetes mellitus presented with renal mass.

Ct chest of abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast shows heterogeneous enhancing exophytic mass arising from the right inferior renal pole with areas of internal hypoattenuation that could represent areas of necrosis measuring approximately 10.0 x 9.0 x 9.6 cm previously 9.9 x 9.2 x 9.5 cm.

Patient subsequently underwent right robotic radical nephrectomy.

GROSS:

Well circumscribed, solitary lesion of a grayish-yellow color.

Focal areas of necrosis and hemorrhaging.

Cystic areas are also present.
