Dr. Christina A. Arnold is the Chief of GI Pathology, Associate Director of the GI pathology fellowship, and pathology faculty lead for the clinical gastroenterology fellows at The Ohio State University (OSU). Before joining OSU, she completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident. She then completed a two-year GI and liver pathology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Her academic interests include describing novel GI injury patterns, specifically inflammatory bowel disease and mimics, infectious agents, and emerging drug injuries, among others. These works have resulted in more than forty manuscripts, more than fifty national and international speaking engagements, more than thirty medical student and resident lectures, and a first-author textbook entitled Atlas of Gastrointestinal Pathology: A Pattern Based Approach to Nonneoplastic Biopsies. She serves as a senior editor of a related Atlas based book series, Section Editor of the Social Media Section for Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, USCAP Ambassador and Abstract reviewer, and has received a number of teaching awards.
