Biosketch

Vijay Pancholi, PhD is a Research Associate Professor in the Experimental Pathology Branch. He earned his PhD in Microbiology at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India. He completed postdoctoral training at the Foundation for Medical Research in Bombay, India followed by training in the Department of Biochemistry at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India. He then went on to receive additional training in the Department of Medicine, Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York followed by training in the Laboratory of Bacteriology and Immunology, The Rockefeller University, New York. Dr. Pancholi’s research focuses on the pathogenesis of diseases caused by group A streptococcus.
