The Ohio Society of Pathologists (OSP) is a not-for-profit organization composed of almost 300 physicians dedicated to the promotion of the field of pathology in the state of Ohio.

Our members are involved in leadership positions at the local, city, state, and national levels. The Ohio Society of Pathologists is very active in the areas of continuing education, quality assurance, and the legislative and socioeconomic aspects of the practice of pathology.

OSP does not directly provide clinical services, including any form of testing or post-mortem examination.

Trainee Program Ambassadors

Seeking OSP Program Ambassadors

Dear Ohio Pathology Trainees,

The Ohio Society of Pathologists (OSP) Board of Governors is seeking OSP Program Ambassadors from each of the seven pathology training programs in the great state of Ohio. Please see below for further details regarding each position.

If you are interested in the Program Ambassador position, please email your CV and a brief statement of interest (3 to 5 sentences) in the position(s) to our administrator Velia Campana at: veliaacampana@aol.com

Application Deadline is Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:59PM ET.

OSP Program Ambassadors

  • Total Number of Positions: 7 (one position for each training program)
  • Position Term: 1 year*
  • Eligible Applicants: any pathology trainee (resident or fellow) actively training in the state of Ohio
  • Position Description: Program Ambassadors are tasked with encouraging Ohio pathology trainees from their institution to engage with the Ohio Society of Pathologists. Program Ambassadors encourage engagement by reminding their trainee colleagues to join OSP (membership is free for trainees), to attend the biannual Educational Programs (attendance is free for trainees), and to participate in Society-led activities such as the Annual Virtual Poster Competition and the Annual Resident Roundtable Luncheon. Each Program Ambassador will serve as the contact person between the OSP Board of Governors and their training institution.

Sincerely,
