HISTORY:
34 year old male presented with gross hematuria along with passage of blood clots after workout in the morning.
CT scan revealed frond like mass in the urinary bladder near left uretero vesicular junction with concerns for extension into left ureter. Pt underwent trans ureteral resection of mass.
GROSS:
The mass was resected in two parts, superficial and deep and were received as tan pink fragments, 3.3 x 2.5 x 0.9 cm and 1.0 x 0.6 x 0.3 cm each.
What is the most likely diagnosis?
- Invasive urothelial carcinoma
- Urothelial carcinoma in situ
- Cystitis cystica
- Low grade non invasive papillary urothelial neoplasm compatible with Inverted papilloma
- Noninvasive papillary urothelial carcinoma- high grade
