HISTORY:
65-year-old female presented to her PCP for low back pain.

She underwent an MRI of lumbar spine that showed an 8 mm focus of mild increased T2 signal intensity involving the posterior cortex of the left mid kidney and CT renal mass recommended.

CT AP showed left midpole anterior cortex hyperdense renal lesion measuring 1.1 x 1.0 cm.

The mass was biopsied for diagnostic purposes and was sent for histopathological examination.
