HISTORY:

64-year-old male with history of ulcerative colitis, asthma presented with renal mass.

CT abdomen/pelvis showed cystic and solid enhancing renal mass at left inferior pole kidney with focal calcification and measures 1.9 x 1.9 x 1.5 cm.

Patient subsequently underwent left robotic partial nephrectomy.

GROSS:

The specimen consists of a 9.3 g, unoriented 3.5 x 2.7 x 2.3 cm partial nephrectomy. A 1.9 x 1.8 x 1.3 cm tan-yellow, pink, partially calcified, partially cystic, and well-circumscribed.

No areas of hemorrhage or necrosis are identified.
