HISTORY:
A female in her 40s with history of ESRD on hemodialysis with incidental renal mass. CT abdomen and pelvis showed 4.5 cm partially exophytic solid mass in the lower pole of the left kidney.
Radical nephrectomy was performed.
GROSS:
We received kidney and perinephric fat with an attached segment of ureter, renal vein, and artery, 273.9 gm, 12.0 x 6.9 x 5.8 cm.
A well-circumscribed partially hemorrhagic, multicystic mass with no solid component measuring 4.5 x 4.2 x 3.5 cm was seen in lower pole with no extension to renal vein.
What is the most likely diagnosis?
- High grade oncocytic tumor
- Papillary RCC, solid variant, oncocytic type
- SDH deficient RCC
