The Ohio State University Department of Pathology Biospecimen Research Services (PBRS) facilitates biospecimen access for basic and translational research investigators with IRB approved or non-human subjects protocols. PBRS provides biospecimen access to research investigators from The Ohio State University, as well as for basic and translational researchers throughout the United States and Canada. PBRS includes two National Cancer Institute (NCI) funded programs, the Cooperative Human Tissue Network (CHTN) and Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology to advance bench to bedside research. PBRS also includes biospecimen and biofluid procurement by the Department of Pathology Tissue Procurement Services with biospecimen processing and transient storage as requested.
