My favorite thing about being on the Pathology DEIB committee is:

“ Being on the DEI committee enables me to experience the benefits of having a broad range of perspectives in the workplace. When ALL people have a voice, feel welcomed, and are able to share their perspectives in a respectful and inclusive environment, it fosters innovation and creativity, which are essential for personal, professional, and collective growth.”

I became interested in being part of the Pathology DEI committee ...

“ … due to the numerous possibilities it offers. Among these, I am particularly passionate about the chance to foster a sense of belonging and support the encouraged collaboration to impact issues such as breaking stereotypes, challenging biases, and building connections. As part of the Outreach subcommittee, I get to be part of these connections both within OSU and our surrounding community. My favorite DEIB quote is “Strength lies in differences, not similarities” by Steven Covey.”
