Biosketch

I am an associate professor-clinical in the Clinical Pathology Branch. I am the director of the Hematopathology Division and also the director of the Residency Program in the Department of Pathology. I earned my MD from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan and then came to The Ohio State University Department of Pathology to complete a combined residency in anatomic and clinical pathology followed by a fellowship in surgical pathology and then a fellowship in transfusion medicine. I am board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and transfusion medicine and have over twenty years of experience practicing hematopathology including complex cases and consultations.
