Surgical Pathology Exploration for College Students. The Ohio State University Pathology Department offers a 2-hour unpaid experience for Ohio State and nonOhio State undergraduate students at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (410 W 10th Ave) most Thursdays from 9-11 am. During the first hour, the student will tour surgical pathology laboratories. During the second hour, the student will meet with a surgical pathologist one-on-one to discuss pathology as a career and the use of light microscopy in patient diagnostics. Requirements: Students must be 18 years of age, currently enrolled in a university within the United States, and fill out the required HIPAA form prior to the experience.
