Faculty members within the branch of Anatomic Pathology are specialists who continue to provide excellent clinical service to the patients of the OSU Health System, maintain a strong teaching commitment to the medical students and residents, and are involved in furthering our research mission.

Anatomic Pathology is entirely subspecialized. This approach combines focused diagnostic excellence with translational and basic research and clinical trials. Each division works with the clinical faculty from other departments to investigate the pathology of specific diseases to determine diagnostic challenges and prognostic indicators. This approach allows for greater interdepartmental collaboration and will result in not only fostering our research mission but directly impacting patient care. We hope to help identify specific disease markers that will act as both prognostic and predictive factors for the individual patient, thus, enhancing our ability to practice personalized medicine.
