Biosketch
Dr. Mohamad Mazen Gafeer is a double board-certified pathologist (Anatomic/Clinical Pathology) and joined the faculty as an assistant professor of pathology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in July 2024.
After his graduation from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Syria, he traveled to the US and joined a research group at Emory University in Atlanta, GA where he was involved in multiple research project.
He completed his AP/CP pathology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Then he joined The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for surgical pathology fellowship, followed by cytopathology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
