Biosketch
Yan Hu, MD, PhD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology. Dr. Hu earned her Bachelor of Medicine from China Medical University and Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. She completed residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology at University of California Los Angeles. She was a Fellow and Clinical Instructor in Surgical Pathology at University of California Irvine. She is boarded in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Molecular Genetic Pathology.
Dr. Hu is interested in personalized medicine, targeted therapy and underlying molecular mechanisms of cancer.
