Biosketch

Iouri Ivanov, MD, PhD is an Assistant-Professor Clinical and Division Director of Gynecologic Pathology in the Anatomic Pathology Branch. Dr. Ivanov earned his MD at Vitebsk State Medical School in Vitebsk, Belarus. He completed an internship at the Vitebsk Regional Teaching Hospital followed by a research fellowship at Vitebsk State Medical School. Dr. Ivanov went on to earn his PhD from the Scientific Research Institute of Oncology and Medical Radiology in Minsk, Belarus. He then completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. Following his residency, Dr. Ivanov completed an Oncologic Surgical Pathology Fellowship at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.
