Biosketch

Heather M Stieglitz, PhD, is a American Board of Clinical Chemistry certified Co-Director of Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Pathology Department of the Ohio University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Stieglitz completed her training in clinical chemistry in the COMACC accredited fellowship at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She is Medical Director for point of care testing at OSU Outpatient Care East, OSU Outpatient Care Lewis Center, and OSU Outpatient Care Gahanna. Dr. Stieglitz's research interests are in interferences in clinical testing, general chemistry, toxicology, and point of care testing.
