Biosketch
Dr. Maryam Tahir is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Tahir is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She further sub-specializes in Breast and Gynecological Pathology.
Dr. Tahir earned her medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical University, Pakistan. She completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency training at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial hospital. During her residency, Dr. Tahir developed more interest in Breast and Gynecological Pathology. She carried her interest into fellowship and completed her combined fellowship training in Breast and Gynecological pathology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. After her fellowship, Dr. Tahir joined the Department of Pathology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2022.
Dr. Tahir's research interests include breast and gynecological tumors, focusing on triple-negative breast cancer and endometrial tumors.
